Skittle's Story

Due to popular demand, you may post your Skittle's adventure story here in the comments 5th and 6th graders.  Please remember to include an observation that he makes from all of his five senses.  Great work today.  I appreciated your participation in our science safety discussion. I am looking forward to getting to our mystery can lab tomorrow.

One day Mrs.Yates forgot to close Skittles's tank. So Skittles hopped out to explore the world. He smelled something that made his mouth water. He followed the scent and he saw big fat flies. He let his tongue fly it caught a bumpy and rough texture. He swallowed it and tasted something sweet and juicy. Skittles thought in his mind "I've had a good adventure, let me go back to the class." When he went back in he heard Mrs.Yates calling his name. "Skittles Skittles," he heard. Mrs.Yates saw him and caught Skittles in her gloved hands. So Skittles returned to his tank. Everything was fine.

  4. story:

Once upon a time, there was a frog named skittles. His mother named him skittles because he was rain bow. Skittles went with his cousin Fred on a sad journey. Fred secretly started to plan is his mind to eat skittles. He smelled good, Fred thought that if he smelled like skittles, he might taste like skittles! When they were hopping up and down the grassy bank over sloppy wet mud, Fred started stalking skittles. Fred was so quiet that skittles did not see it coming. Fred popped him in his mouth and started to chew slowly. He started chewing fast and then Fred exploded.

    Skittles Love Adventure
Once upon a time, there was a lonely frog. His name was Skittles. He went for a hop an all of a sudden ran into the most beautiful frog he had ever seen. Skittles could hear birds start chirping, opera singers singing and a glistening glow of rainbows surrounding him and the love of his life. Skittles said “Ribbit ribbit ribbit. Ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit? (Hi I’m Skittles. Would you go out with me?” She said” Ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit Ribbit. Ribbit ribbit. (Hi I’m Robin. Yes.)” Later on they smelled the most astonishing thing any frog has ever smelled and tasted the most refined crickets in the world. It tasted like heaven in their mouths. On the way out Skittles touched a goopy substance and Robin made sure he was okay. Then they walked off into the sunset and lived happily ever after.

  6. Skittles and the Skittles
One day, Skittles was hopping along happily in his tank when an unaware student dropped his whole pre-opened pack of skittles in the water. All the kids were leaving and didn't notice the now colorful tank. Ms. Yates was about to approach the tank, but the overwrought teacher had another class to teach right afterwards and didn't have time to check on the confused frog. All of a sudden, Skittles got scared. How would such a brave frog become scared?
The truth was, anyone would get scared when the end up floating abruptly on a skittle. Skittles, by instinct, leaped off the skittle onto what he felt as a smooth surface. He was very confused. Skittles wondered, "What just happened?" It was just then that he realized we was out of the water. And if he could escape the tank, what about the skittles?
It was raining skittles! It was so terrible, yet so hopeful because he could smell the water seeping out of them. Skittles needed water to live. He heard the splashing (sp-sp-sp-spla-a-a-a-ashhhhhh)of the excess water. He tasted the salinity of the water in his biome. It was just enough to survive. So, the smoove Skittles used every sense, every instinct to maneuver around the skittles while they were in mid-air to get to his cozy tank.
He was doing so well until he slipped on a slippery skittle. Luckily for the mighty frog, Ms. Yates finally noticed and put him where he belonged. Ms. Yates asked aloud, "Now who could have possibly made this mess?!" as Skittles munched on his cricket-flavored skittle. I guess that was why the kid didn't like the skittles

  9. Skittles and the Skittles: The Arrival of Fred
When Skittles first met Fred, well let's say she was very annoyed. Skittles was used to have the entire tank to herself. But, now Fred was here and he didn't like to share. Fred was mean at first. But, they soon got to know their froggy comrades and became a tad friendlier. Just a tad. Skittles liked "The Skittler", a social media site where she posts about #Vino and all other sorts of hashtags. It didn't make any sense to Fred. Fred was old-school and liked to talk about political ideas and #IDKSyria. Skittles really didn't like Fred a lot. That changed one day when yet another poor soul poured yet another pack of skittles into the tank.
Fred was slow to notice, but Skittles acted fast. She jumped, hopped, ribbited and did all she could to escape. Fred was just sitting there reading his rock. One skittle happened to fall in front of Fred's face and then he started to react... as slowly as slow as Fred could. Skittles, at one point, became so frustrated that she chucked a skittle at Fred. Fred rolled over, slowly, and started to scream, slowly. He ate the skittle. Ever since then, Skittles and Fred were the best of friends (partly because the skittle was poisoned with GF (Good Friend) Poisoning). It only lasted for two days because the poison made him so hyper that he ran into the glass, broke it, and got stuck between multiple red shards of glass.
