Human Heart Model

Describe the path that blood takes in the circulatory system. What did each component that you used represent?

  1. The path that the blood takes in the circulatory system is that it starts from the heart to the right side of the heart, and goes to the left side to the body and back to the heart. The pieces represent the parts of the heart. The bottles were the right and left side of the heart, the cups were the heart and body, and the small blue and clear things were the valves in the heart.

  2. The circulatory system goes from the right side of the heart to your lungs to the left side of your heart to your body and back to the right side of your heart. Then it'll start all over again. The two bottles represented the right and left side of your heart. The cups were the lungs. Those little blue things were the valves. The black things were stoppers. -Sanjana

First the blood travels from the left part of the heart to the lungs. Then from the lungs to the right side of the heart to the body and then back to the left part of the heart. One cup represented the lungs and the other, the body. The pipes and straws represented the tubes connecting the heart to the body and the lungs. The bottles represent the right and left side of the heart. And the mini- blue and white thingies represented the valves.

  4. The circulatory system works by first the blood flows into the right side of the heart and into the lungs and into the left side of the heart and running to the body and then it starts back up again. The red cups were the lungs and the body the small tube looking bottles or the right side of the heart in the left side of heart and the blue little stoppers for the valves in there were for the flow.Ty

  5. The blood(water) travels from the body(cup) to the right heart(bottle) to the lungs(another cup) to the left heart(another bottle) to the body. Then the circle repeats. Along the way there are valves to keep the blood flowing in the same direction.
I found this model a great way to have fun while learning how the circulatory system works!

  6. First, the blood (the water) traveled to the lungs (a red cup)from the right side of a heart(a bottle) and then to the left side of the heart (another bottle). After it was in the left side of the heart, I went to the stomach (a red cup). Then, it went back to the right side. It was really fun making it.

  7. water=blood, bottle 1=right half of heart, bottle 2= left half of heart, red cup 1= body, red cup 2= lungs, tubes= veins, blue valves = valves.
The blood travels from the body to the right half of the heart then the blood goes through the veins to the lungs and back to the left half of the heart and back to the body and the circle repeats, over and over again.

  8. First, the blood goes through the right atrium then the right ventricle, up the valve, into the lungs, enters the left side of the heart and goes through the left atrium and left ventricle. The bottles: heart,
the straws and pipes: tubes and veins, the cups: lungs, valves: valves, and the corks.

  9. First the blood goes through the right atrium and ventricle, then it passes through the valves and goes to the lungs. Down the lungs to the left atrium and ventricle, lastly to the body and the cycle starts over again.

  12. it starts in the right half of the heart goes to the lungs then goes to the right half of your heart and keeps going in the cycle.

  13. The cups are the lungs and body. The straws are the path the blood takes. The water is the blood. The valves are the capillaries. The shampoo bottles are the right and left side of the heart.
