Weathering Investigation
Very loud, amazing work today making your homemade sand! What similarities and differences did you notice between the beach sand and your homemade granite sand?
Taylor The similarities between the two are there both made out of rocks and minerals. They are made of earth materials. Some differences are that one is a darker color and one is a lighter color.
Kaitlin some similarities between the both are there both made out of rocks and they both are sand. some differences are there different colors and they are different sizes.
Ashley The similarities between the homemade sand and the beach sand are they are both sand, they both have been grinded up, small particles, some dark minerals, and are about the same size. Some differences are that one is homemade, one has been eroded, different minerals, different shapes, and different earth materials.

the homemade granite sand was rough and chunky.the beach sand was finer and slightly grainy.
