Welcome Roger!!!

What should we feed Roger?  Why is humidity important?  What happened to the spikes on the iguana in the video?

  1. We should give Roger some of that mango stuff they showed in the video and fruit. Humidity is so important because then, your iguana would get angry. In the video, when the iguana shed, something that I forgot happened and then the spikes fell of.

  2. We should feed Rodger vegetables ( tomatoes, kale, spinach, greens), a little bit of fruits( mangos, apples, bananas, berries), fruity/ spinach pellets. The humidity is important because with out it Rodger's shedding could catch on his spikes( if he has any) and peel them off. The iguana in the video, their spikes caught off from not enough humidity

Food : squash apples asparagus bananas beets bell peppers carrots cabbage corn cilantro grapes kale kiwi mango papaya peaches pears raspberries spinach potatoes strawberries tomatoes watermelon zucchini watercress yucca root parsley pumpkin okra mushrooms lentils green beans cucumber cantelope bok choy blackberries celery cauliflower endive rutabaga
Humidity is important to an iguana because it helps them shed and stay healthy. The Iguana in the video lost its spikes because it had trouble shedding and the dry skin got caught on many spikes so they lost the blood flow and fell off.

  4. Iguanas eat acorn squash, alfalfa, apples, asparagus, beets, bell pepper, blackberries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Butternut squash, cabbage, Cactus leaves, cantaloupe, carrots, cassava, cauliflower, celery, Chinese cabbage, collard greens, Coriander, corn, cucumber, dahlia, dandelion greens, endive, escarole, grapes, green beans, hibiscus, honeydew melon, kabocha squash, kale, kiwi, lentils, lettuces, mango, mushrooms, mustard greens, nasturtiums, okra, papaya, parsley, parsnip, pasta, peaches, pears, pumpkin, raspberries, rice, rutabaga, snap peas, spaghetti squash, spinach, strawberries, sweet potato, Swiss chard, tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, watermelon, whole wheat bread, yellow squash, and zucchini. The lack of humidity can result in future kidney problems. In the video, the iguana lost spikes because of the lack of blood flow near the spikes.

I think we should feed Roger a variety of greens and some fruits and other vegetables. Humidity is important because it affects weather and the temperature. In the video, the iguana's spikes were cut off because of humidity and the spike got caught and torn off the iguana's body

  6. We should feed Roger iguana crunches spinach kale collared greens and fruit. Humidity is important because the iguana won't molt properly. The iguana in the video didn't molt properly the blood flow to the spikes was cut off and the spikes dried up and fell off. - Keegan B

  8. i think you should feed it canned mangos, vitamin food thing, other fruits, and water. humitity is important because or else the lizard would get
too hot, and the lizard in the video lost its spikes because it was shedding wrong so the skin got caught onto the spikes and they fell off. jessica f.

  11. We should feed roger leafy greens and food pellets. Humidity matters because Roger can't get to cold or else he will die. The iguana's spikes had skin covering them and the skin cut off the blood circulation and the spikes fell off. Alex

  12. We should feed Roger some vitamins a good balance of veggies and fruit, and some diets. Humidity is important to the lizard because lizards like very hot, but not very cold. What happened to the spikes was that, the skin got caught around his spikes and stopped the blood flow.

  13. You should feed Roger about 70% mixed greens and vegetables, about 5% fruit, and about 25% protein of different sorts. Humidity is important because he is a tropical lizard so it needs humidity and if it doesn't get enough humidity it will have problems shedding. In the video the spikes on the lizard fell off because there wasn't enough humidity, so it had problems shedding. The shed caught onto the lizards spikes so they lost blood flow and fell off. 14. Roger should be fed veggies, plants, mixed pellet diets, and emergency canned food. Humidity is important because if the humidity isn't right than the skin of the iguana might get tangled and not shed right. The Iguana in the video lost its spikes because it didn't shed correctly.

  16. We should feed Roger reptivite because it has calcium and vitamin D. They can also eat fruit. Humidity is important so the iguana can feel at home in your cage. The iguana lost spikes because he had trouble shedding when he was young and the skin got caught and stopped the blood flow.

  18. The iguana in the video didn't have some spikes is because it was having a hard time shedding and when it did it would tangle which his spikes and the spikes would come off. We should feed the iguana a variety greens and fruits but not to much because it's like candy for them. The humidity is important because so that the iguana skins won't get dry and since Iguanas are cold blooded they have to have and be warm in order to survive.
