sonar would have helped me cause we could determine the depth and the hills better.

science was fun today. do we get to keep our models of the ocean floor, ms. yates?

  7. # Sonar could help me determine how deep the ocean floor is and it can help me find how fast the sound waves travel.

By the way, v=2d/t is the formula to find the dept using sonar

Sonar could have helped me in this investigation because it could have helped me do a better job at drawing the diagram. It could also have helped me with he graph because I could have gotten a better measurement.

  9. Shalyn,
Sonar could help you a lot by telling you were things were and what there are. I love this project because I got the feeling that we were really measuring a ocean floor!!!

P.S. I hope we have more fun projects like this!! :)

  10. Sonar could've helped me by allowing me to measure the the depth of the ocean floor easier. I would've also been able to see how fast the waves travel.

  18. # One reason sonar can help me more accurately contents of the ocean floor is that it can help me find how close or how far objects are apart from each other. If I used sonar I could of drawn a more accurate picture of the mystery box.
