What did you observe today with the plants switch from the dark environments to the light environments? Was your hypothesis support by these observations?

  2. Alyssa,
I observed that The seeds put in the dark will quickly develop light qualities, where as, Light takes longer to start up the dark Qualities.

  3. I learned that plants can process chlorophyll under 24.

  4. I learned that the plants would be a different color in both containers. I also learned that if you switch environments then they will react quickly. My hypothesis was supported because AVINASH!!!!!!!!!

P.s. funny mid-sentence break in right

  5. My hypothesis was partially supported by my observations because the plants in the dark started to yellow but the plants in the light turned green really fast, which I didn't expect.

I observed that when we switch our plants, the dark-to-light bags were already green, but with a little bit of white near the roots. My hypothesis was half-and-half correct. I said that when the plants switched, they would slowly turn to a different color, but the plants would grow more slowly. : )

I observed that the plants in the dark transferred to the light turned green in less than 24 hours because they were in the dark for such a long time that when they got in the light, they took advantage of the sunlight and photosynthesis and immediately soaked up chlorophyll and turned green immediately whereas the ones in the light transferred to the light did not turn golden brown immediately and were only starting to turn yellow because the plants saved energy and nutrients to stay green and not turn yellowish brown right away. Plants are pretty smart!:) Thanks Ms. Yates for making a fun lab! See you tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy near Halloween everyone! :D
