Red Worms: Day 7
Great observations today 5th grade!!! What is the importance of red worms in the ecosystem?
The importance of red worms in an ecosystem is that they are decomposers, they get rid of all the dead organisms, and they fertilize the soil to make it rich. Alicia B.
The importance of a red worm is that it is a decomposer which eats dead animals/plants. When it eats the animal, and makes scat, it actually fertilizers the soil. Olivia. G

Red worms importance to the earth is to help decompose natural litter and kitchen waste by eating the bacteria on them. They also fertilize soil and plants by secreting casting which is moist and water the plants and soil.
