  2. I predict that I will see nothing in my evaporation dish because the salt already evaporated when we stirred it and the water will evaporate overnight.

I predict that in this lab there will be salt crystals and a small amount of water in the filter.
    Thanks for reading!

Square salt crystals with X's in the middle.

  5. I predict that I will see less water, and more salt, this is because of evaporation. the element of evaporation will probably make it so that there is less water and more salt, possibly some water will evaporate during the night, which makes it so that there is more salt because salt doesn't evaporate.

I predict that I will see salt crystals that are needle pointed, 6-sided, and have x's on them. I predict I will also see chunks of salt and small bits of water that might not have evaporated yet. Fun lab!

  12. I predict that I will see just salt or bacteria growing on the evaporation dish. There is a better chance that just salt will appear, but the second prediction is possible to happen, too. -Auhona :)#:)#:)#

I predict that there will possibly be a little water that didn't evaporate as quickly and that there will be little salt crystals at the bottom of the evaporation dish.
P.S: I am not going to be there tomorrow (Friday) because I have J.O's, or Junior Olympics. I want to catch up on every thing I will miss. I won't see you tomorrow :(
WISH ME LUCK AT THE J.O'S!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  14. Alyssa,

My hypothesis is that ether All of both the salt and water will be completely evaporated, or onley the water will evaporate and the salt will stay. I am more depending on my first theory, but hey, who knows!

( P.S. to days experiment was really fun!)

Tomorrow I think I will see chunky pieces of salt floating around the dish. I would also see left over water because probably not all of it evaporated.
