Were you surprised by today's observation??? Or, was your prediction correct??? Please let me know if your hypothesis was supported or not supported by the observations you made today of your wheat seeds?
Hello my wonderful students!!! Listen closely...are you listening??? This is your science teacher Ms. Yates. I know, I know. I just saw you a few hours ago. Remember the awesome reminders, updates, and fantasticness that I promised you?? It is here. Yep!! Right here. Remember to check it out daily. The rewards will be worth your time. Assignments that you forgot about or were absent for? Here!! Notes you may have missed?? Here too!!! Announcements?? Yep!! ReplyDeletemy hypotheseis was supported because plants grew in both light and dark.
I was surprised by today's observations because I thought only the plants in the light bags would grow but the plants in the dark bags did to.

ReplyDeleteI was very surprised at the results in the dark container.
anica
ReplyDeletemy hypothesis is correct because in my container the light had one and the dark had zero.

ReplyDeleteMy prediction was that the seeds in the clear bag will grow and the one in the black bag wouldn't be as big. My Hypothesis was supported because the in the clear bag we had 1 sprout and in the black bag there was no sprouts but a lot of roots.

ReplyDeleteThat was 2 comments in 1

ReplyDeleteMy hypothesis was supported because in both bags, sprouts popped up out of the rich ground.
Scientist out...
Brooke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy hypothesis would be correct if it were only including our group's container and not everybody's. In our group, the one that had light had only one 2 millimeter sprout and the one with no light had no sprouts but many roots. Unfortunately, it is including all the group's containers and since many groups had sprouts in the one with no light my hypothesis was incorrect. My hypothesis was that the ones with light would only sprout a little and the ones with out light would not sprout at all but in many groups the one with light had many sprouts that were pretty big for the first time and the ones with no light had some sprouts. Unfortunately I was not correct:( But still..........that was an awesome lab. Thank you Ms. Yates for being the most awesome science teacher EVER! :) Scientist going on break:p
quinn i thought that only the light would grow but i was wrong : (
ReplyDeleteQuinn i think the sugar activatred the yeast.
ReplyDeletequinn i learned think sugar will activate yeast :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)!!!!
ReplyDeleteM hypothesis was supported because the water in the dark was still very wet and lots of seeds started growing. Peace out!!!!
ReplyDeletemy hypothesis was supported because the ones in the light grew and sprouted but the dark bag grew to so my hypothesis was halfly supported
ReplyDeletemy hypothisis was not supported because i said that it would not grow that much in the dark but it grew more in the dark than the light.

ReplyDeleteMs. Yates my hypothesis was not supported. My hypothesis is different from what I observed because……I predicted that only the plants in the light would grow. I was surprised on how much my dark plants grew. Well……..that just science!:)
Brooke!
ReplyDeleteI know this is off topic because its not about our wheat seed investigation but painting the teeny tiny pots was really fun! Thanks for pulling my name in the raffle!:)
Alyssa, this is really fun and I hope It takes a wile!
