Wheat Seed Investigation Day 1
What do you predict will happen to the seeds placed in the clear plastic bags? In the dark plastic bags? Do you think both conditions will break the dormancy of the wheat seeds?
rachel Hi Mrs. Yates!! I think the clear bag will break it's dormancy but the not the dark bag because it's not geting it's nutrience from the sun. For the second question I think just the clear bag will break it's dormancy.A little like the first question. And also thank you for giving me the perfect paw. = )
Hello I predict that the light plant will grow because plants need sunlight and wheat feilds are open to the sun. Soooooo....... if you put the peices together like I did you might just see what i mean. Anyways this shoutout goes to halloween.........Halloween Rocks!!! Happy halloween month everybody!:" Vampire!!!Heh heh!
Maria The bags have some air. I think the yeast seeds in the clear bag will sprout because the will be able to get their nutrients from the sun. The black bag will not let sunlight through so the seeds won't germinate.
My prediction is that the ones on the light will grow because they have light, the ones in the dark will not grow because they do not have any light. Sean
My prediction is that the plants in the clear plastic bags will grow because wheat seeds need light to grow. I think the plants in the black trash bags will not grow because they are not getting sunlight and their process of making food is taking in water, sunlight, and CO2 (carbon dioxide) that they turn into sugars or oils. Pragathi I predict that the seeds with the clear plastic bag will sprout, but the ones in the black plastic bag will not because there is no sunlight. Both groups will have broken out of their dormancy.
