What type of wave did the side to side walkers represent? Which type of walker arrived first at each timer station? What happened to the distance between walkers as distance from the start point increased?
The side to side walkers represented the s waves and they were slower. The 2 forward 1 backward walkers represented the p waves and were faster. The 2 forward 1 backward walkers arrived at each station first. As the distance from the start point increased, the distance between them increased by a little.
The side to side waves represented s waves which were slower. The spring like 2/1 were faster and they represented p waves also known as primary waves. When the distance from the start point increased, the distance between the two different waves increased a small amount.
